This was my first attempt at making a large composition (12"x18"). It was a learning process and I don't particularly love the piece, but there are moments that really excite me. I took from this long 'exercise' a greater knowledge of composition, density and repetition. This piece will forever hold a special meaning to me, as the genesis of greater things to come...
